The front desk receptionist serves as the face of the company, the first and sometimes the only person whom the visitors meet. This role requires a great deal of skill to perform the many different tasks. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator and a strong administrator. They also must comfortably interact with individuals of all professional levels. The candidates are expected to be incredibly organised and friendly as they are always representing the company.
Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone.
Answering or referring inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintaining the telecommunication system and connecting calls with the relevant people.
Maintaining, updating and scheduling Director Appointments.
Arranging couriers. Sorting and distributing post.
Organizing travel and stay arrangements for staff.
Send notification emails regarding upcoming company events, meetings, holidays etc.
Handing out employee applications and maintaining employee and department directories.
Maintaining security by monitoring visitor logbook.
Maintaining a safe and clean reception area by complying with company rules and procedures.
Coordinating repair and maintenance of office equipment.
Performing other duties as and when required.
An ideal candidate will be self-motivated and will display polished communication skills. The candidate will be expected to handle pressure and work efficiently within a team. They should be flexible, professional and should show a willingness to learn more.
Expert level proficiency of English and Urdu.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office. Coral and Photoshop skills are a bonus.
