Job Description
- The Teach For Pakistan Fellowship is a highly selective, full time, two-year, paid employment opportunity. Over the two years, Fellows will be provided with on-going teaching support and leadership development opportunities, and will be closely supported by Teach For Pakistan staff and partners. Fellows will be Teach For Pakistan employees as well as full time staff members of the schools in which they are placed.
- Teach For Pakistan Fellows will be required to teach for two consecutive years in an under-resourced school in either Lahore or Karachi. During this period, they will be responsible for their students’ performance in the subjects that they teach. In order to ensure their students’ success, Fellows will be expected to develop key relationships with the school administration, other teachers, parents, leaders within the community and stakeholders.
- Fellows are currently placed in Classes 3 through 8 and teach a combination of the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Urdu and Social Studies. Applicants will have the opportunity to provide class and subject preferences in the application. However, school needs are given preference over individual preferences
