Responsibilities

• Oversee the running and development of new and ongoing projects/products
• Manage stakeholders and communicate with a remote development team
• Assist in maintaining product performance
• Understand customer insight and identify & define opportunities, problems or threats
• Manage product backlogs and priorities work
• Create user stories and testing functionality as part of the agile development process
• Review code and design
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
• Integrate and validate new product designs
• Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
• Provide post production support
• Interface with hardware design and development
• Assess third party and open source software

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java Enterprise & Embedded software engineering combined.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience working closely with a tech team to communicate requirements, test and deliver digital products.
• An understanding of data and be comfortable with date-related development
• An understanding of insight with the user in mind
• Results driven & an excellent communicator with stakeholder management experience
• Experience working with development and UX teams
• Worked within an Agile environment
• Experience with stakeholder management
• The ability to function well as part of a multi discipline team/cross-functionally
• Proven experience in Java Enterprise application design and development including
• Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
• Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
• Strong documentation and writing skills
