Wordpress Front-End Developer

• Taking award-winning PSDs and creating super tight code and WordPress themes
• Document technical and functional specifications
• Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into HTML5/CSS3 WordPress themes.
• Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays. Engage in outside-the-box thinking to add value to ongoing projects.
  

• 1 year minimum experience with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript and jQuery
• 1 year minimum PHP Web programming experience
• 1 year minimum experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL
• Must have strong skills in Photoshop
• Experience with Bootstrap with Less
• Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
• Creation of custom post types
• Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards
• Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
• Experience customizing WordPress plugins and themes
• Experience working with WordPress at PHP code level
• Theme/Template integration
• Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial
• Experience creating multi-lingual websites
• Knowledge and experience of web accessibility
• Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues
• Development experience using extensible web authoring tools
• Experience developing and implementing open source software projects
• Self-starter with strong self-management skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
