A construction consulting company, Bahria Consulting is inviting you to join the company as a construction accounts manager. The applicant/candidate must have an experience of 2-3 years in accounts department, preferably in some construction company. The duties will include planning, construction projects’ budgets, performing cost analysis, and reviewing purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts. The goal is to ensure that all estimated construction costs are tracked and managed.
In order to ensure success as a construction account manager, you have to display excellent business acumen and minimize the production cost through planning and efficient accounting.
The core responsibilities will be:
Reporting any financial risks and budgetary discrepancies to management beforehand
Researching market trends and projecting construction related price increase/ decrease
Keeping a record of all project finances for internal/external auditing and tax purposes
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
Excellent knowledge of construction cost, accounting and related financial procedures.
1-2/ 2-3 years of experience in some known company.
Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks and Netsuite.
Solid mathematical and analytical skills.
Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
