Job Description
Manage store figures from store portfolio to identify and manage spend issues. Analyse spend patterns to highlight potential for further growth with customers, and then construct proposals to achieve this.
Recruit new customers for delivered sales and develop existing delivered sales through actively selling their service to prospects that the BDM is to identify.
Retain delivered customers once they have been recruited.
Monitor sales levels and patterns weekly to identify and manage any issues.
Analyse spend patterns of existing customers to identify opportunities to expand trade. Retain and grow existing accounts for other large customers, including secondary wholesale and bulk sales.
Achieve performance against budget for own accounts / area of responsibility turnover, profit, store numbers, bulk sales, drop shipments etc.
Job Specification
2+ years experience as a
a) Sales experience, with experience of managing key accounts.
b) Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
c) Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
d) Ability to operate in a team environment.
e) Customer focus.
f) Highly organised.
