• Coordination and management of the ERP system architecture lifecycle phases, including: planning, design, installation, testing, implementation, maintenance and support.
• Apply PeopleSoft version upgrades and service packs, as well as coordinate system maintenance (patches, updates, fixes, etc.).
• Strong understanding of how Tuxedo, Weblogic and Peopletools work in an integrated environment; responsible for deployment, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Detailed understanding of process schedulers, application server, web server, reporting and file server in a tiered architecture.
• Provide support as well as input to technical infrastructure and server configuration related to PeopleSoft environment.
• Work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to ensure service delivery is meeting business objectives.
• Creating and maintaining thorough and complete technical documentation of the PeopleSoft Enterprise System.
• Provide mentoring and cross-training to peers and interdependent team members Qualifications Skills & attributes required include ERP System Administration, with university OR healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Maintain PeopleSoft system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, load-balancing and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor.
• Secure PeopleSoft system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing; completing back-ups.
• Determine the most effective way to increase performance including, server configuration changes, or index/query changes on MS SQL.
• Document the database environment with reference to PS.
• Install and configure SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms.
