Job Description
Responsibilities and Authorities:
1. Coordinate with sister companies on production lead time & shipment arrangement.
2. Maintaining the proper record of concerned purchase documents.
3. Coordinate with different dept. for material arrangement information.
4. Assure best quality purchasing
5. Negotiate & Co-ordinate with Clearing agent & forwarders for shipment arrangement
6. Prepare the Import Gate Pass applying application to the Zone.
7. Co-ordinate with Customs & EPZA for Import related procedures.
8. Resolve the problems (If any) related to Customs & Zone Authority with the help & guidance of seniors.
9. Co-ordinate with HOD and update about the shipment status.
10. Prepare the shipment arrival status.
11. Update the import Purchase order file according to the shipments received
12. Prepare the forwarders & clearing agents billing record
13. Perform any other duty assignment given by the management
14. Making price comparison reports
15. Item inquiry/quotations
16. Delivery follow up with supplier and zone
17. Submission of invoices of procured items to accounts department with P.O, Invoice, & GRN.
18. Perform any other duty assignment given by the management.
ISMS Responsibilities:
Responsible to secure information to protect the organization against the consequences of breaches of confidentiality, failures of integrity or interruptions to the availability of that information. In case of security breech due to mishandling employee will be accountable.
Job Specification
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree B.COM, BBA from recognized university
2. Experience: 2-3 years previous import Export documentation experience
3. Skills & Knowledge:·
Energetic and Exceptional Public Dealing Skills. ·
Good Know how of Import Export Procedures·
Ability to multi-task and follow-through
