Job Description
Fabric Merchandiser is responsible to create a liaison between Marketing & Sales Team and the production departments from planning, execution, quality assurance, till shipments. His/her core responsibility is to take follow ups from each segment of fabric processing and to keep Marketing & Sales executives updated of order position to meet deadlines for shipments.
Job Specification
Typical work activities:
- To collect standards/quality parameters from Mark & Sales Team, after confirmation of orders, i.e., agreed with buyers/customers for further execution and follow ups.
- To arrange/attend meetings with all quality concern departments (Mark & Sales, R&D, Q.A & Planning) in order to discuss all required parameters in detail.
- To check initial production and share the feedback with Mark & Sales Team.
- To update daily production status and highlight problems to fix them timely.
- To assist Mark & Sales Teams for day to day sampling after checking all aesthetic and quality parameters.
- To coordinate with Audit, Inspection, Lab and Dispatch departments for smooth and quality production/shipment.
- To make sure the packing list at the time of shipment meets all the standards approved from customer.
