Solutions Architect

Collaborate with project team members and key client stakeholders to scope out projects. This includes facilitating work planning activities and technical envisioning activities that result in the execution of actionable and manageable phases of software development projects.
Function as the technical delivery lead to define the technical and solution architecture for a phased software development delivery, and ensure proper timelines and budget constraints are met during the delivery process
Facilitate development of an architectural blueprint schematic, feature specifications, and detailed technical design schematics.
Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis activities such as storyboarding, use cases, and creating functional requirements specifications.
Develop features in PHP,.NET, Java custom applications to meet feature specifications and technical designs.
Create and build out database models using MSSQL, SQL Server, then surface data to user interfaces by using object oriented techniques, often using object-to-relational mappers.
Oversee unit and system testing focused on features.
Create, facilitate, and monitor results of acceptance testing procedures.
Create and facilitate performance and load testing procedures and issue remediation.
Transition projects to ongoing support/maintenance teams.

Expert understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations.
Experience with designing large, enterprise-focused relational databases, optimizing database structure for performance and/or maintainability, and the ability to design and optimize stored procedures.
Experience with establishing project usage procedures for source control, work item tracking, and build management with Team Foundation Server (or similar).
Deep hands-on knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012, C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC), ADO.Net, jQuery, and CSS.
Strong experience working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
Experience with Object Relational Modeling (ORM) using different tools such as Entity Framework (and/or nHibernate) and Linq, and experience selecting appropriate tools such as ORMs as part of the technical architecture/design process.
Hands-on experience designing and building scalable web applications, particularly building high frequency and low latency web applications with optimal memory management, performance, and scalability.
Be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
Have a passion for building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices and mentor others on how to do the same.
Possess knowledge of sound business practices and a proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs.
