An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement.
Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
What you will be doing: Become Oracle expert for a designated product set within the Apps Product portfolio and Supporting the Sales organization in standard presales activities such as but not limited to:
- Providing responses to Requests for Information/Proposals.
- Writing Business Proposals
- Preparing solution demonstrations & PoC (Proof of Concept) engagements by translating customers business needs into Oracle solutions.
- Preparing presentations in the area of expertise.
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to customers using the latest web technology.
- Research on upcoming Oracle Technologies.
- Educate customers, partners and the sales force on latest Oracle Apps technologies and solutions.
- Object handling and winning against the competition
- Being able to deal with sales and partners
- Understanding sales cycle and providing the right technical sales support
- Knowing the latest technologies and solutions from both Oracle and its competitors.
- Working with the virtual technology pre-Sales teams across Oracle organization.
- Become specialized in Oracle ERP Products, System Managements, Oracle Cloud, and Data Integration Solutions.
- Support marketing and channels by delivering public events and workshops.
- Support, and where necessary, drive technology adoption by clients.
Requirements and QualificationWhat we are looking for:
- Talented graduate in Computer Science/Engineering with minimum of 6 years experience with oracle technologies.
- Willing to work in Lahore as Senior Pre-Sales Consultant covering Oracle ERP products.
- Fluent in English is a plus.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Experience of working with Oracle products, ERP (Ebusiness and Fusion) and cloud computing.
- Understanding of the sales process and having some pre-sales experience.
- Willingness to work towards achieving goals in a changing and challenging environment.
- Team player who can motivate and lead.
- Self-dependent and proactive professional.
- Capable of positioning and selling concepts and solutions to IT and business managers
- Demonstrated ability to plan tasks and follow-up actions.
- Experienced in Oracle Methodologies i.e., AIM, ABF, OUM
