Arête Apps is looking for a senior PHP developer who is able to lead a small team of developers & designers and help the company with existing products/web apps as well as plan & development exciting new web applications as per the vision of the company.
You will architect, develop and/or maintain a variety of open-source projects. You will be expected to plan, research, develop logic, code, test and deploy several Web projects at the same time.
Your duties include:
Advising the executives on the necessities and information required for the project.
Taking part in the preliminary planning of the project, meeting and discussing ideas related to it.
Design, evaluate, update and maintain structural and object oriented web applications in PHP.
Translate client’s information into a functional application.
Develop functional and technical specifications for projects.
Determine all necessary coding requirements for the project/application. Implement changes to existing applications/sites and update current information as directed by client. Perform thorough QA testing including functional and cross-browser/platform compatibility.
Job Specification
We are looking for a web Developer with experience in open source technologies.
You will be responsible for working on a number of projects at any one time using a complex range of technologies including PHP(W/LAMP), MySQL Server, JavaScript (jQuery), HTML, XHTML, CSS and OpenSource.
You should have experience of OOP, have good analytical and code-translation skills.
You should know how to build a web application from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code.
You should know PHP & mySQL like the back of your hand.
Experience in developing CMS using Wordpress or joomla would be a major advantage.

- Exceptional with PHP and DHTML (Web 2)
