Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Write copy for clients' ads, brochures, and other forms of advertising.
• Creating high-quality, sharable digital content optimized for search engines
• Researching relevant client industry topics to create the most compelling content
• Writing numerous compelling articles and assisting in their promotion through digital media•
Update digital media with timely content.
• Perform search engine optimization techniques.
• Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed or directed by client.
• Research the technical properties of products and services.
• Determine what makes products or service appeal to consumers.
• Conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns.
• Work with supervisor to create ideas. Write clear and persuasive copy for websites (on-page and off-page).
• Brochures, ads, blogs, white pages, articles, technical reporting and other means of digital marketing.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Ad words and Bing
• Experience with SEO tactics and strategies is a plus
• Must be able to write and edit a large amount of content at a time
• Must be able to write intelligently about a variety of topics and industries
• Respond to feedback in a timely manner.
• Work within tight deadlines.
• Check copy for spelling and grammar errors.
• Research competitors and keep abreast of market content trends.
• Explore different ideas and concepts for both the visual and verbal elements in tandem with the creative team.
• Work with designers, developer, illustrators, and printers to complete the campaign.
• Write press releases, e-magazine’s and draft emails for advertising new products.
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Specification
Qualifications
· Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in Communication, Writing, Public Relations, Journalism, English or similar concentrations
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in writing for digital marketing, marketing, technology or similar fields
