3+ years commercial experience with PHP 5 using an MVC framework and MySQL - Experience developing Javascript and AJAX web solutions. - Knowledge of software design principles such as design patterns, coding standards and best practices
- Some commercial experience working with Magento and Wordpress
- Demonstrable experience with 3rd party integrations and API's
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript libraries such as jQuery / Prototype
- Excellent communication skills - Good experience of Database Optimisation and Caching Technologies.
Job Specification
Advantageous:-
- Experience developing with a PHP framework such as Zend
- Experience of developing automated tests (using phpUnit/Lime/Selenium)
- Some experience of advanced MySQL topics, such as query optimization
- Experience with jQuery & jQuery plugins
- Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs
- Knowledge with NoSql Databases
