Job Description

  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Supervising Risk Management and Emergency Planning procedures.
    Responsible for organizing and directing the efforts of technical personnel for the maintenance and repair of all major plant equipment. Establish preventative and predictive maintenance system. Lead the team for all capital projects.
  • Responsible for the quality system documentation and implementing the Quality Systems in the Technical Department.
  • Maintains and updates operating and training manuals for the technical department.
  • Ensures that all technical staff are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures.
  • Monitors operation of plant equipment and systems.
  • Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
  • Coordinates activities with Plant Operations Departments.
  • Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
  • Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the technical department.
  • Reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.
  • To follow code of conduct while on duty and preach the same to others.
  • To have effective coordination with the management & staff for smooth/efficient work-flow.
  • To provide immediate feedback to the immediate supervisor and management in case of any abnormality.
