Job Description
Materials Management:
· On the basis of market forecast, actual sales, availability of materials and existing FG stock levels. Follow up’s to ensure availability of stocks to meet sales objectives.
· Procurement of Local Materials Raw/Packaging Delivery Scheduling.
· Day to day dealing with vendors; meetings/visiting their facility to ensure quality and timely delivery.
· To coordinate with different manufacturing units, outsource manufacturing sites and different departments to achieve the organizational objectives.
· Market Forecast, Actual Sales, Finished Goods Stocks, Materials Availability
Procurement:
· Price, quality, lead times, reliability & costs MOQ (minimum order Qty)
Production Planning:
Checklists:
· Inventory Control
· Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)
· Imported Materials (LC/BC/TT)(6 months Inv)
· In selecting a supplier, a number of factors must be analyzed.
Production Planning Monthly Production Plan:
· Planning delivery timetables
· Ensuring stores have enough stock
· Making sure suppliers have enough stock to meet demand
· Overseeing the ordering and packaging process
· Monitoring stock levels
· Tracking products through depots to make sure they arrive at their destination Overseeing arrival of shipments
