PURPOSE OF JOB
To maximize the the sales by producing high quality leads and working as a team towards agreed set targets and profitability goals. To provide a high level of sales support by ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
01. Identify opportunities, produce leads and book appointments / tickets / tours with the emphasis on high quality leads
02. Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors
03. Proactively follow up leads generated
04. Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database
05. Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business
06. Work closely with the marketing to achieve sales objectives
07. Negotiate commercial terms within set guidelines
08. Liase effectively with all departments within Apollo Group to ensure customer requirements are met
09. Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing Best Practice Ideas
PROSPECTS
Successful Telesales people can expect to be promoted to Corporate Account Managers within a 6-12 month timescale providing they have continually met or exceeded set targets.
Additional Information
The company is small but growing and all employees are expected to work as a team and support one another. You may therefore be asked, from time to time, to undertake other duties by your Manager or a Director of the Company that is within your range of skills and abilities.

02. Computer literate/keyboard skills
03. At least 1-2 years working within a sales environment preferably in a proactive telemarketing role within the travel, tourism and real estate (or related) industry
