SQA Engineer

1. Discussing and understanding the scope of web development projects in coordination with the development team and Project Manager and possibly, Client.
2. Defining test cases to be tested against after for each module/sprint of development, completing those tests and reporting back to project manager and development team with bug reports.
3. Helping developers in determining relevant unit tests.
4. The ability to run automated tests will be a major plus but not required.
5. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
6. Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
7. Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
8. Some knowledge of web technologies like PHP, HTML, CSS, wordpress ,MySQL, Jquery, etc
9. Ensure that validated deliverable meet functional and design specifications and requirements
10. Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
11. Ability to understand project scope and create test cases and unit tests.
12. Some familiarity with Wordpress.
13. Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverable. Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
