Job Description

One of our valuable client is looking for Pre Sales Engineer to it's Lahore and Karachi Office.

Job Description:

Study partner vendor’s product portfolio and develop application scenarios based on knowledge of service provider and enterprise networks in Pakistan. ·
Scope, create and deliver technical presentations/demonstrations and solution recommendations to prospects and customers; Develop in depth knowledge of the competitive solutions in our marketplace and how they compare with product offering.·
Prepare documents covering technical aspects of bidding proposals and lead the bidding process to ensure timely completion of tasks within the organization.·
Engage customers to extract critical technical and business drivers and document information from customer.·
Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.·
Persuade the clients through regular contact that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.·
Develop relationships with customers and vendors to better understand customer needs and expand the reach of possible solutions·
Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm and internal. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.·
Coordinates closely with internal sales and service resources to align solution design with customer’s business requirements.·
Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s technical close.·
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas and sales channels. ·
Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.·
This position includes outside travel to customers premises

Job Specification

BSC or BE degree from an accredited institution. ·
Minimum 2 years technical and solution experience in telecom or computer networking.·
A record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable role would be favored.·
Product certification, engineering credential, or equivalent technical credential would be preferred. ·
Technical knowledge of Routing & Switching, Wireless LAN and VoIP is required along with design knowledge of Cisco based solutions.
