PHP Software Engineer / Programmer

At least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a reputable university. At least 5 year of relevant professional working experience as a PHP Developer. Must be proficient in PHP, MySQL, LAMP, CSS/CSS3, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XML You must have good knowledge for MVC Frameworks like Symfony2 and Zend Strong database knowledge, specifically MySQL and PostgreSQL
Responsibilities: ·
Understanding and implementing of project management practices·
Managing Project scope and change requests (CR) ·
Guiding the team in defining technical architecture of their projects, including working with them to finalize the DB schema. ·
Formulates strategies and methods in coordination with the Architect to gather functional requirements and capture them in standard notations like use cases. ·
Monitoring development activities and reporting project progress ·
Managing, mentoring and providing technical guidance/support to project teams ·
Improve the technical competence of the team through training & development of existing and new team members. ·

Desired Skills & Experience
1. At least 5 years of programming experience
2. Expert level PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (jQuery)
3. Expert level Object Oriented Design, and MVC implementation
4. Experience working in a team development setting, using source code control
5. Intermediate-level SQL syntax (JOIN, UNION, aggregation and conditional functions)
6. Intermediate-level DB design (data normalization, foreign key constraints, indexes)
7. Experience working with third-party APIs.
8. Developing and/or designing large web systems
9. Experience with both front end and back end development
Experience in the following areas a plus:·
Experience performance tuning databases·
Experience with UI and user experience development·
Experience with developing reporting interfaces (charts, data grids, filters, exporting)·
Any Sys Admin experience·
Any frontend framework knowledge (angular.js, backbone js)
