Senior Procurement Officer (Material)

We are looking for Senior Procurement Officer (Material) for our manufacturing industry client based in Karachi.

MBA - Supply Chain with 2-5 years of experience at same position.
Conscious efforts to purchase material at most competitive prices.
Timely availability of material to factory.
Improve supplier’s services & reliability & wherever possible build up new suppliers.
Ensured quality of product being supplied.
Co-ordination with proponent departments for solving issues related with PRs.
Follow up of rejection material with concerned department.
Outdoor sourcing of material / follow up with suppliers visiting their premises.
To implement company’s purchasing strategy.
Purchasing of all imported raw material based on the production plan.
To develop new vendors for non proprietary items.
To assist department head in price negotiation with vendors.
To assist department head in vendor management & performance monitoring.
Provide analysis enabling negotiation for purchases of goods and services.
Understanding company purchasing policy & ensuring that 100% compliance in observed.
Coordination with finance for timely payment to vendors after submission of invoice.
Managing procurement for stock and consumable items.
Maintain record in the database & monitoring purchase orders.
Coordinate with purchase committee for bidding process
Formulate regular status report & purchase orders.
Provide business case and impart short terms technical assistance.
