Job Description

"An International Recruitment Company is in its final stages of starting its operations in Pakistan. The company will be the first of its kind in the country and set new industry standards in the local labor market, both for job seekers and employers.We are looking to bring on an Employee Acquisition Officer to undertake core research and ground work in Karachi. The opportunity will be the gateway into acquiring a permanent and exciting position leading the Human Resource teams later in 2016. "

Responsibilities:

Candidate will be expected to embark on an immediate month long quest to build an extensive and extremely accurate database of a maximum number of domestic workers who are either unemployed or currently employed but looking to move jobs for better career/pay/lifestyle prospects in Karachi.
The pool of persons is mainly to consist of (cooks, drivers, house maids, nannys, sweepers, gatekeepers, gardeners- further, waiters, restaurant managers, butlers etc relating to experience in hospitality must also be recorded).
The search will focus on persons residing in Karachi however the candidate must demonstrate the ability to tap into contacts in rural areas and other provinces to document all labor that may be interested in domestic employment in Karachi.
Further, the candidate will be given a specific and basic form to have all labor to fill as the primary research.
This will need to be supported by photo/video documentation of the workers.
It will be crucial for the candidate to have an extremely good judgment with reference to scoping these workers as the main objective is not only to build a large database but to in fact ensure that it is one that seeks out quality, genuine and serious workers.
The second stage of verification of the candidates with involve liaising with NADRA, local area police as well verifying past employer references etc.

Job Specification

Requirements:
· 5 plus years of experience in hiring workers for homes/business/retail
· Extremely disciplined individual with exceptional time management
· Goal oriented
· Track record of achieving targets
· Relationships in hotels and hospitality are a plus
· Field related work experience required
· Preferred: retired army officer with deep contact with workers
· Have strong geographical knowledge of Karachi and ability to source job seekers/employees.
· Ability to devise outreach, create point of contact, take marketing initiatives
· Basic computer skills such as data entry/emailing etc
· Multimedia skills: Able to record videos and take photos to build audio and visual catalogue of employees
· Fluent Urdu and Basic English written and spoken is a must. Pushto is a plus
