- arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists, & purchase dept
- making presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses
- building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff;
- keeping detailed records of all contacts;
- reach and exceed sales targets;
- plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables.
- regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings;
- keeping up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations;
- monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products;
- staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
Job Specification
Bachelor degree (Preferably Science)
Prior healthcare sales experience
Proven successful sales track record
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and generate demand within an assigned geography
Solid business acumen including excellent and persuasive business communication
Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and execute the selling process in a manner that is concise, compliant, professional , ethical, and persuasive; and with leads to the customer taking action
