Opening and closing of corridor Forex rates
Categorize all agents on basis of performance, considering both the number of transactions and recovery behavior
Ensuring compliance with ACE policy and standards, local laws and regulations, controls and procedures of the company and regulatory requirements pertaining to Money Laundering.
Assisting top management in developing and updating of procedures, controls and monitoring plans for Operational Risk Management.
Preparing periodical reports regarding money transfer rates, revenue analysis, agent-wise credit limits analysis and bad debts (if any) for use of top management.
Preparing and providing impact analysis of new policies and procedures issued in relation to money laundering prevention
Defining Selling Rates by performing market rate analysis on competitors’ products, tracking market conditions, inter-bank rates, stock markets, foreign exchange markets for rate change due to market conditions
Exercising due care and diligence on matters related to Money Laundering in the day to day operations, which include account opening and reviews, transaction monitoring, reporting suspicions, customer communication, implementing new requirements, updating and revising operating procedures, acquire relevant knowledge and training, provide support to superior and subordinates
Ensure appropriate root cause analyses and implementation of resulting process improvements for significant operational issues impacting ACE.
Effective complaint management by coordinating with Customer Care Department
Reporting any suspicious transaction immediately to the Compliance Department
Maintaining a robust Business Continuity Plan (BCP) that is dynamic and compatible with the business objectives.
Preparing departmental budgets and yearly plans
Appointing consulting services for bad debts if required
Preparing a fact finding report based on inquiry/review of bad debts detailing the reasons for non- payments/overdue payments and submitting the report to BOD for fixing responsibility.
Ensuring zero operational loss by monitoring Credit Limits of agents/locations on monthly basis and preparing reports of the same for consumption of top management
Forming teams of Operations Executives on regional/territory basis, monitor operational performance of teams on daily basis.Responsible for daily credit limit management subject to credit policy and authorizing the same on system by dual supervision control.
Focusing on Daily Transaction size ans volume and executing strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly Targets.
Defining departmental functions, assessing departmental workload and identifying vacant posts required to be filled in operations department in consultation with HRD.
Prepare, circulate and ensure to update training materials and procedures of Operations Department as and when required
Analyze training needs of existing employees to help them improve in deficiencies affecting their performance. etc
