DUTIES
The position requires the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives based on user needs and thorough understand of business systems and requirements. On hire for this position, you will analyze business business and user needs, document requirement, and translate them into proper system requirement specifications.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will processes a deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Engineering processes and practices. Technologies skill should include Visual Studio .Net coupled with C#, C++, Visual Basic, COM, DCOM, ActiveX, SQL Server, OLE DB, ADO, Visual Basic for Applications, UML, XML, web application development, web services development, share point services development. Candidate will posses the skills to architect and design object models in a platform and technology independent manner. Experience with Windows 2003 servers and technologies and active directory is preferable along with knowledge of networking protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of Visual C++ coding and object oriented design/programming experience.
• 2+ years of web development experience, e.g., .NET, ASP, VBScript, Jscript, XML.
• Excellent database knowledge, particularly MS SQL Server, ODBC, ADO, Schema.
• Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Knowledge of COM/DCOM, Win32 API, MFC/ATL, and experience with service and GUI programming.
• Familiarity with Registry and NT Security.
• Ability to read and develop UML diagrams.
• Must understand the iterative development process.
• Experience leading teams of 3 to 5 developers/testers.
PREFERRED (Not a must):
• Knowledge of power management APIs and capabilities in MS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Windows Networking.
• Installation and deployment experience.
• Device driver programming experience.
• Experience developing software for network administrators
• Online help systems implementation experience.
