Job Description
From preliminary business requirements and collaboration with the analysts and other developers, participates in exploring possible high-level solution designs, performs domain analysis and achieves long-term reuse by modelling the right concepts at a suitable level of detail.
Performs design and development, applying established and emerging software engineering best practices using the following technologies; Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports.
Produces software designs to meet functional requirements within time and cost constraints.
Balances between robustness and speed/cost considerations.
Ensures technical documentation reflects changes to functionality or implementation choices.
Develops integrations to implement requirements in accordance with design approach.
Applies quality best practices including design reviews, unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration to ensure a defect-free delivery.
Identifies and addresses areas for improvement.
Other duties may be assigned.
Job Specification
Working knowledge in different aspects of Oracle ERP (11i or R12) software design, development, testing, and production support.
Experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms required.
General interest in Oracle SOA based integration and experience with Oracle SOA Suite 11g software platform preferred.
Familiarity with version control (Subversion) preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Established critical analysis skills.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
