About Pakistan Lacrosse Federation (PLF):

The Pakistan Lacrosse Federation (PLF) is the governing body for lacrosse in Pakistan, responsible for promoting and developing the sport of lacrosse at both national and international levels. PLF is affiliated with World Lacrosse, the Asia Pacific Lacrosse Union, and other relevant authorities in the lacrosse community.

Job Description:

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for generating financial support for organizing lacrosse events in Pakistan and abroad. This position is crucial for securing funds to sustain and grow lacrosse initiatives, including tournaments, training camps, and development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet the financial needs of the Pakistan Lacrosse Federation.
  • Identify potential donors, sponsors, and partners within Pakistan and internationally.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective donors to solicit contributions and sponsorships.
  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to engage donors and raise funds.
  • Prepare and present proposals, sponsorship packages, and fundraising materials to prospective donors.
  • Collaborate with the PLF management team to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, donor interactions, and financial contributions.
  • Provide regular reports on fundraising progress, outcomes, and opportunities to the PLF Board of Directors.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, and regulations related to fundraising and philanthropy.
  • Represent the Pakistan Lacrosse Federation at fundraising events, meetings, and conferences as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communication, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or business development, with a track record of successful fundraising campaigns or initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve fundraising targets.
  • Knowledge of the sports industry, particularly lacrosse, and an understanding of the fundraising landscape in Pakistan and internationally.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising software/tools is an advantage.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the Pakistan Lacrosse Federation.

Compensation: The Fundraising Manager will receive a percentage-based commission on the funds raised, with no fixed salary. The percentage rate will be determined based on performance and fundraising targets.

Note: This position requires flexibility in working hours and may involve travel within Pakistan and abroad for fundraising activities and events.
