Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Order Booker to join our team. As an integral part of our sales force, you will be responsible for visiting assigned retail stores according to a Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) to take orders and maintain positive relationships with our retail partners. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate collection of orders to meet daily sales targets and support our distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Visit 40-50 retail stores daily as per the Permanent Journey Plan covering specific routes from Monday to Saturday.
- Take orders accurately using a company-provided smartphone app, ensuring all client specifications are met.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing retail partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Report daily activities and order intakes accurately and timely.
- Stay informed about product details and updates to effectively communicate with retail partners.
- Identify and escalate any issues or concerns from retail partners to the management team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Order Booker, Sales Representative, or similar role in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Proficiency in using smartphones and mobile applications for order taking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High energy level and stamina to visit multiple retail locations daily.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the edible oil industry or FMCG sector is preferred but not mandatory.
