About the job:

Position: Backend Developer
Tech Stack: Node.js/Express.js
Job Type: Full Time (Onsite)
Shift Timings: Night 9pm to 6 am
Role Type: Permanent

Location: Emarah Suites, Shahrah e Faisal, Karachi

Role Description: As a Backend Developer at LaunchBox Pakistan, you'll be an integral part of our software development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our applications. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of server-side logic with user-facing elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge within the team.
• Work on backend development to ensure the holistic functionality of mobile applications.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a backend developer.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Node.js/Express.js.
  • Solid understanding of backend development principles.
  • Experience in NodeJS/ExpressJS (TypeScript preferred)
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Firebase, etc
  • Experience with SQL databases like MySQL, SQLite, etc
  • Preferred experience with JWT, Sockets, NodeMailer, Postman
  • Experience with Rest APIs, and data validation
  • Preferred knowledge of Payment APIs, Map APIs, Chat APIs
