Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to generate revenue by selling products or services offered by the company. You will be tasked with identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable solutions to meet those needs. Your ultimate goal is to build and maintain strong customer relationships while achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Sales Generation: Actively seek out and engage prospective customers through various means such as cold-calling, networking, attending events, and utilizing online channels.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their requirements and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Product/Service Presentation: Effectively communicate the features and benefits of products or services to prospective clients, highlighting how they address specific customer pain points.
  • Quota Achievement: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets as set by the company.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing the deal, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for customers.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales Reports: Accurately document and report sales activities, progress, and results regularly to sales management.
  • Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions with customers to ensure win-win agreements for both parties.
  • Customer Support: Collaborate with the customer support team to address any post-sales issues or concerns promptly.
  • Professional Development: Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise through training and workshops.

Job Specification

Requirements:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field can be an advantage.
  • Proven Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in a relevant industry, is beneficial.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate product information and build relationships with customers.
