Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Electrical & Automation Engineer to join PhiTech Solutions in Wah Cantt. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for electrical engineering, automation, process control, and robotics to support the company’s automation projects. You will optimize electrical and automation activities throughout a project’s lifecycle, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to gather and understand project requirements.
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency through automation solutions.
- Research, design, and implement automation technology to meet project goals.
- Develop connections between information inputs, controllers, and outputs to create efficient automation systems.
- Conduct tests and simulations to ensure systems function correctly.
- Establish monitoring and quality assurance processes to maintain system performance.
- Investigate and troubleshoot defects or errors in technology and systems.
- Support the development and execution of project charters and detailed project concepts.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and safety standards during design and installation phases.
- Coordinate with contractors, ensuring all engineering implementation follows defined standards.
- Provide support during the project start-up phase and ensure a smooth transition into operation.
- Prepare and distribute project engineering documents, contributing to final project reports.
- Provide feedback for maintenance and prevention systems to improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience (Must Have)
1-2 years of engineering design and commissioning experience in the Automation and Simulation industry.
Experience (Good to Have)
- 4-10 years of engineering design and commissioning experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role and 2 years of on-site experience in the installation and commissioning of electrical and automation systems.
- Experience in designing, installing, and commissioning control and power management systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, PMS, RTU systems).
- Proficiency in configuring and installing industrial servers.
- Understanding of industrial networks and protocols such as IEC 61850, Modbus/TCP IP, etc.
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity systems is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HSE practices related to electrical systems.

- Project management skills with the ability to handle complex engineering projects.
- Experience with artificial intelligence, robotics, and automated system testing.
