Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
General Ledger Management:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
Audit Coordination:
Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation.
Supervision and Training:
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Provide training on accounting principles and company policies.
Tax Compliance:
Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns.
Stay updated on tax regulations and identify opportunities for tax savings.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare reports and presentations for management.
Internal Controls:
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
