Job Description:
Mechatronix Solutions, a leading company in the engineering and technology sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and skills in handling income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax, and will be proficient in creating challans, reports, deposits, and maintaining accurate data entry records.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Management:
Prepare and file income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax returns accurately and timely.
Create challans and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws.
Liaise with tax authorities and manage any tax-related inquiries or audits.
Financial Reporting:
Generate detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Data Entry and Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Perform regular data entry tasks to ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Deposits and Payments:
Manage the preparation and processing of deposits and payments.
Ensure all financial transactions are handled efficiently and accurately.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
Maintain organized and comprehensive documentation for all financial transactions and reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax regulations.
Proficiency in creating challans, financial reports, and managing deposits.
Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
