Job Title: Online Researcher (Tibet Focus)

Position Summary:
The Research Institution for Language and Culture of Asia at Mahidol University is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Online Researcher to support our ongoing project, βThe Impact of Government Actions on Language Development.β The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of Tibetan culture and governance, particularly related to the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Conduct in-depth research and collect data to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
β’ Prepare detailed research reports, summaries, and other documentation related to project outcomes.
β’ Work independently to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality research deliverables.
Qualifications
Education:
β’ A college degree or higher in a related field.
Experience:
β’ Prior experience working with or knowledge of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) is highly preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Tibetan culture, history, and language development issues is an asset.
Skills
β’ Proficiency in English or Tibetan is essential.
β’ Strong computer literacy, including internet research and office software tools.
β’ Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Work Environment:
β’ Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
β’ Requires a self-motivated and reliable individual capable of working independently.
Compensation:
β’ Probationary Period: $200β500 USD per month.
β’ Post-Probationary Period: Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the position offers permanent employment with a salary range of $2000β4000 USD per month, based on performance and qualifications.
Employment Type:
β’ Part-time, with potential for transition to full-time based on performance after the probationary period.
