Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Wordpress Developer at Chimes Consulting. The Developer will be responsible for back-end and front-end web development, responsive web design, web design, and web development tasks on a day-to-day basis.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
- Customize themes, plugins, and functionality to meet business needs
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to improve UX/UI
- Ensure website security and performance
Job Specification
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with custom themes, plugins, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery)
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization
- Familiarity with WooCommerce, API integrations, and third-party tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
