Job Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Laravel Developer at Chimes Consulting. As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using the Laravel framework. You will collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel framework
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend systems
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing Laravel projects
- Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other services
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
Job Specification
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and MVC architecture
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React is a plus)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database design
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
