Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant Specialist with expertise in accounting software and a solid background in the insurance industry. This role involves managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain financial records related to insurance transactions, policies, and claims.
• Mastey in one of the accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to streamline financial processes.
• Handle insurance-specific accounts, including premium income, claims reserves, and commission tracking.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports. Reconcile accounts and oversee financial transactions.
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in insurance industry accounting (property, auto, life, health, or business insurance).
- Proficiency in one of the accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
