Job Opportunity: Accountant (2+ Years Experience)
Location: Darussalam Cooperative Housing Society, Korangi Crossing, Karachi
Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
About PakTech Industrial & Trading Company
PakTech is a leading importer, indenter, and stockist, catering to the foundry, steel, and battery industries. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Karachi.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain financial records, ledgers, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports.
Handle import costing, GST stock statements, and monthly GST filing data, and coordinate with tax consultants.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing requirements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Assist in payroll processing and expense management.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy in financial data.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Odoo, Tally, etc.).
Strong MS Excel skills and knowledge of financial reporting.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations in Pakistan.
Preference will be given to candidates residing in Korangi, Landhi, DHA, or Baloch Colony.
