Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team. The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, products, and services at competitive prices. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely procurement.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for replenishment.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and budget constraints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Address any issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Purchaser or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong knowledge of market trends and sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
