Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical SEO Developer with experience in e-commerce store management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in search engine optimization, technical SEO, and hands-on e-commerce experience. This role requires managing product listings, optimizing content for search engines, and ensuring that our online store performs at its best across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical SEO:
- Optimize website architecture, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability
- Implement structured data (Schema markup), canonical tags, and robots.txt rules
- Ensure proper indexing and resolve crawl errors using tools like Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
On-Page SEO:
- Conduct keyword research and map target keywords to appropriate content
- Optimize meta tags, headers, URLs, image alt tags, and internal linking structure
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are applied to content creation
Off-Page SEO:
- Develop and execute backlink-building strategies to improve domain authority
- Monitor backlink profile, disavow toxic links, and identify link-building opportunities
- Outreach to industry-relevant websites, blogs, and influencers
E-commerce & Amazon Store Management:
- Manage product listings on both website and Amazon marketplace, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, and pricing
- Optimize Amazon product pages using SEO best practices and Amazon-specific keyword tools
- Update inventory levels, manage FBA/FBM logistics, and ensure accurate product categorization
- Handle end-to-end Amazon store operations including order processing, returns, customer communication, and compliance
- Coordinate product launches, deals, and promotions on Amazon in sync with website campaigns
- Monitor performance using Amazon Seller Central analytics and make data-driven optimizations
Content Management:
- Oversee content updates across the website and product pages
- Ensure alignment with SEO strategies and branding guidelines
- Work with designers and writers to publish high-quality, SEO-friendly content
- Maintain consistency in tone, format, and messaging across digital assets
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track performance using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog
- Generate SEO performance reports (traffic, rankings, conversions, etc.)
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with developers, designers, and marketers to ensure cohesive digital strategy
- Assist in website migrations, URL restructuring, and redesigns from an SEO perspective
- Stay up-to-date with algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry news
