Truck Dispatcher 10

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Truck Dispatcher to coordinate and manage daily truck shipments and driver schedules. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact between drivers, clients, and logistics teams—ensuring timely deliveries, optimizing routes, and maintaining high levels of communication and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate routes based on customer needs, load requirements, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor truck locations using GPS and tracking software to ensure on-time performance.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, addressing any delays, emergencies, or issues that arise on the road.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch details, delivery confirmations, and fuel usage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure their delivery expectations are met.
• Coordinate with mechanics and fleet managers regarding vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT and company regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with dispatch software (e.g., McLeod, Samsara, or similar).
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
