Backend Developer

Design and develop secure and scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS.

Build and maintain APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.

Integrate third-party services and data sources as needed.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Write clean, modular, and maintainable backend code.

Implement and maintain authentication, authorization, and access control systems.

Collaborate closely with frontend developers to define API contracts.

Handle deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of backend infrastructure.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

3–4 years of backend development experience.

Strong knowledge of Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript; experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus.

Experience designing and building scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Proficiency with MySQL, Postgres and writing optimized SQL queries.

Understanding of authentication and security best practices (OAuth, JWT).

Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, backups).

Proficiency with version control (Gitlab).

Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

A portfolio of public GitHub or GitLab projects that demonstrate your expertise and code quality (preferred).
