Job Description
a) REGULAR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
* To give the lip sing support to customer regarding their billing of their accounts and internet connection, mail problems, web hosting etc.
* To support the customers regarding their Internet related software
* To support the customer regarding their Internet related hardware
* To deliver all information regarding the available services of Brain Ltd.
* To keep track and follow up the customer problems
* Report to the shift In Charge
* Liaison with System Administration department
* In detail support regarding value added serviced provided by Brain Ltd.
b) PERIODIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
* To handle the fax support.
* To handle the domain registration problems with the co-operation of Data Center Dept.
* To prepare documents as per instructions.
* To document the assigned jobs.
Job Specification
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES
* Proficient in installation & trouble shooting of Win9x, Win2k, Win NT, Win ME, Win XP
* Excellent in installation & trouble shooting of Internet related software, Hardware and configuring Internet connection on all Microsoft Platform.
* Familiarity with LAN, WAN, proxy server, popper, DNS server, SMTP server, FTP server, web server, Client Email Software, Client FTP software, Chat Software, Secretarial Software Tools.
* Should be good user of different type of browsers and should have knowledge enough to troubleshoot them.
* Must be good problem determination and troubleshooting.
