Fashion Designer

The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating innovative, market-driven Textile/apparel designs that align with brand identity and customer preferences. This role requires strong creative skills, trend analysis, and close collaboration with production, merchandising, and quality teams to transform concepts into commercially viable products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development
• Develop creative apparel designs for safety wear, workwear, and fashion categories.
• Translate seasonal fashion trends, customer needs, and market insights into product designs.
• Create sketches, mood boards, CADs, and tech packs for sample development.
• Research & Trend Forecasting
• Conduct market research, study fashion forecasts, and competitor analysis.
• Recommend fabrics, colors, trims, and accessories aligned with industry trends.
• Stay updated on innovations in textiles, sustainability, and apparel design.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with merchandising and production teams for cost-effective product development.
• Coordinate with suppliers for fabric and trims sourcing.
• Collaborate with QC/IE teams to ensure feasibility, fit, and functionality of designs.
• Sample & Product Development
• Supervise sample creation and provide technical input to sampling unit.
• Review fittings and make necessary design adjustments.
• Ensure timely approval of designs before bulk production.
• Sustainability & Innovation
• Incorporate sustainable materials and processes into designs where possible.
• Explore innovative product designs to support brand differentiation.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or other design software.

Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and apparel manufacturing processes.

Creativity with a commercial mindset and customer orientation.

Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
