Job Description
The Trucking Sales Agent is responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and selling transportation and logistics services. This role focuses on identifying customer needs, negotiating rates, and ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting company revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for trucking and freight services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, brokers, and logistics partners
- Present and sell trucking solutions tailored to customer needs
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service terms
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure service fulfillment
- Track leads, sales activities, and customer interactions using CRM tools
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction
