Shopify Frontend Developer

Wixpa Pvt Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Frontend Developer with strong expertise in Shopify theme development and frontend customization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify storefronts with a focus on performance, usability, and clean code.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Frontend Development

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Customize Shopify themes to meet business and design requirements.
• Implement responsive, mobile-first UI designs across all devices.
• Optimize storefront performance, page speed, and user experience.
• Integrate third-party apps and custom frontend features.

UI/UX Implementation

• Convert Figma, Adobe XD, or other UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect Shopify pages.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent styling.
• Work closely with designers to improve UI/UX quality.

Shopify Customization & Optimization

• Customize product pages, collections, cart, and checkout (as per Shopify limitations).
• Implement dynamic sections and reusable components.
• Ensure SEO-friendly markup and best frontend practices.

Code Quality & Best Practices

• Follow clean coding standards and Shopify best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend issues efficiently.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product teams.
• Document theme customizations and development processes clearly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shopify Frontend Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience customizing Shopify themes and sections.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with Shopify admin, theme settings, and metafields.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Shopify app integrations.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Basic understanding of Shopify APIs.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or modern CSS frameworks.
• Prior experience working with Shopify Plus is a plus.
