Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Bookkeeping

Record all sales, purchases, and expenses Maintain cash book, bank book & general ledgers

2. Receivables & Payables Management

Track customer payments & outstanding balances Manage vendor payments Follow up on overdue receivables

3. Inventory / Stock Control

Maintain accurate stock in/out records

Perform physical vs system stock reconciliation

Calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)

4. Banking & Cash Handling

Perform bank reconciliation

Monitor cash flow, cash in hand & bank balances

5. Invoicing & Billing

Generate sales invoices

Maintain proper transaction documentation

6. Financial Reporting

Prepare Profit & Loss Statements

Track weekly & monthly financial performance

Provide insights to help management make decisions

7. Tax & Compliance

Handle Sales Tax / GST returns

Prepare data for Income Tax filing

Ensure compliance with local laws & regulations

8. Budgeting & Cost Control

Monitor company expenses

Suggest cost-saving strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce
• Proven experience as an Accountant (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of:
• Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting
• Taxation (Sales Tax / Income Tax)
• Inventory Management
• Proficiency in MS Excel & Accounting Software
• Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills
