Operations Manager Travel agency's Call Centre

We are a UK based travel agency looking for a sharp, results-driven Operations Manager to lead and scale our call centre operations.

This is not a basic admin role — you will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing agents, improving systems, and ensuring every lead converts into revenue.

If you have hands-on experience in a local travel agency, understand flight bookings, GDS systems, and know how to run a high-performing sales team— this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily call centre operations (inbound + outbound sales)

Lead, train, and monitor a team of travel consultants

Drive sales targets, conversions, and revenue growth

Monitor call quality, scripts, and closing techniques

Manage Team and day to day office operations and admin tasks

Directly report to MD in UK office .

What we're looking for

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Proven experience working in a travel agency

Strong knowledge of flight bookings, fares, and routes

Experience with GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, or similar)

Background in managing a call centre or sales team

Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Ability to handle pressure and hit aggressive targets

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Experience with Umrah/Hajj is a plus.
