Role Summary:
Join a publicly listed textile company to support accounting and financial controls across yarn, fabrics, and value-added product operations. The Assistant Accountant will maintain bookkeeping, manage payables/receivables, perform reconciliations, assist month-end close and payroll, support statutory filings and audits, and coordinate with production/inventory for cost accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping, ledgers, and journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable; perform vendor reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
- Assist with month-end close and prepare financial schedules
- Support payroll processing and statutory filings (sales tax, withholding)
- Assist internal and external audits and maintain compliance documentation
- Coordinate with production and inventory teams for cost accounting
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years' accounting experience, preferably in textiles or manufacturing
- Proficient in accounting software: Tally, SAP, ERP
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of local tax and statutory requirements (sales tax, withholding)
- Experience with bank reconciliations, payables/receivables, petty cash, and month-end close
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical ability
- Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills
