What you’ll be doing

About the role

  • Deliver live online English lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels using company learning platforms and prescribed materials.
  • Design lesson plans aligned to curriculum objectives and create differentiated activities for mixed-ability groups.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to track progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assess and report on student performance through quizzes, assignments, and progress reports; develop remedial plans where needed.
  • Maintain communication with students and parents to set expectations and provide progress updates.
  • Participate in curriculum development, training sessions, and collaborative teaching activities.
  • Occasional onsite assignments at the Lahore center for teachers who prefer or are required to work in-person.

What we’re looking for

  • Must-have: Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and academic writing.
  • Experience delivering lessons online using video conferencing tools and digital whiteboards.
  • Familiarity with LMS features (assignments, grading, resource sharing).
  • Lesson-planning skills and use of formative and summative assessment.
  • Classroom-management techniques adapted to virtual settings (clear instructions, time management, engagement strategies).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; professional online presence and punctuality.
  • Basic IT literacy: stable internet connection, headset, webcam, ability to troubleshoot common connectivity/software issues.
  • Preferred: TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification or equivalent teaching experience; familiarity with international curricula or exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge).
